Dress Code for the day: DRESS-UP! Wear your Easter best- we dress for success. Absolutely NO t-shirts, jeans or tennis shoes (as if you had to ask). Arrive to school in these nice dress clothes. Do not waste my time (and your fellow musicians') by bringing clothes to change. This would inevitably cause us to run late and such inconsiderate behavior would cause stress. For all of our sakes, such added stress should be avoided. So, arrive to school in your nice clothes.

Goals for the day: Stay focused on your performance during the performance (no distractions) and stay relaxed. If you do these things, our performances will be stellar both on stage and in the sight reading room. You are a talented group who has worked toward a distinguished quality performance. You deserve an outstanding performance. I am proud to be your teacher and am excited to conduct your performances. Stay focused and relaxed.

Concert festival is a free concert, so parents, family and friends are welcome to drive to Henderson and listen. The performances will be in their new performing arts auditorium (very nice!). Unfortunately, you may not ride home or to lunch with parents or family! We need to stay as a group and enjoy the day as a group.

If you would like a free trip to lovely Henderson, KY….I NEED CHAPERONES! We are taking 2 buses, plus an equipment truck. So, there will be plenty of room. Please call me or indicate on your child's permission slip if you would like to chaperone. I'll even buy your lunch!
